Changes: grayscale conversion, resizing to 8192 / 4096 pixels, WebP compression,
and runtime transparency/illumination. No endorsement by the creator is implied.
These are archived composites, NOT live satellite images or current cloud cover.
Globe illumination uses Cesium's Sun position at the browser's current UTC time,
updated each minute. Globe route lines use actual WGS84 GPS coordinates;
small location markers help locate circuits that are tiny at orbital scale.

Current satellite globe: MapTiler satellite-v4 raster imagery when configured.

Provider attribution is displayed on the globe. MapTiler is the same imagery
provider at all camera distances; there is no street-map renderer handoff.
